We have a fantastic opportunity for a VP of Product to join a leading Menswear Brand. This role requires leadership and organisational skills to shape the Product team, taking ultimate accountability for the development and delivery of the range.

Key responsibilities include
Develop and own a clear and actionable strategy for the department that grows the range, margin and quality standards as rapidly as possible.
Bring an engineer’s mindset to the challenge of measuring and monitoring the Fit and QC
Lead on the diagnosis of and resolution of technical issues in the range - especially around fit.
Make the final call on all supplier selection, and lead the relationship with the principals at every supplier
Design and maintain a Production and Product Development process that is transparent, organised and in control.
Select, develop and grow the (small) team that will help you deliver all this
Key requirements include
Leadership - an instinct to spot issue and opportunities, find solutions and own the outcome
A demonstrated track record of developing and inspiring people you work with - and making tough calls when you need to
Technical knowhow - a good understanding of how to fine tune the block, materials and construction of everything from a pair of trousers, to a tailored jacket.
Deep sourcing experience. You’ll make instinctively good calls about which suppliers to work with - and you’ll be able to stand on a production line, ask exactly the right questions, and quickly assess what’s right, and what’s wrong.
A rich and relevant supplier network
Robust project management skills that maintain a high tempo.
Hight degree of comfort with xls, ppt, and onboarding with new software.
Razor sharp commercial instincts that go beyond calculating margin - proactively assessing and driving the best deal for the business across multiple dimensions
A willingness to travel, often at short notice
