We have a new vacancy for a Visual Merchandiser Coordinator with a leading retailer based in Carlisle.
As a Visual Merchandiser Coordinator, you will lead and influence your stores in implementing and maintaining an impeccable brand image across all stores. You will be an experienced Visual Merchandising, capable of combining a creative flair with the commerciality needed to maximise sales through your store’s displays, and deliver visual propositions that support the store’s Activity Calendar, including New Season, Sale and Christmas. Working alongside the Visual Merchandiser Manager to support them and the product areas they manage. This role is split between head office and out in the field.
Responsibilities/ Objectives:
Work with marketing and retail to deliver clear and concise communication to stores.
Liaise with Buying and Merchandising departments to obtain relevant information in order to compile and create VM guidelines under the direction of the Visual Merchandise Manager.
With guidance from VM Manager, compile and process relevant promotional / events briefs to enable stores to implement said promotions in partnership with colleagues from the Creative team.
Assist the marketing team with ordering and briefing promotional materials
Support with the set-up of shop walk throughs
Continually update relevant marketing information on a regular basis, including weekly marketing summary, window calendar, board report etc.
Carry out store visits to ensure effectiveness of VM / POS briefs and compile relevant feedback.
To be actively involved in implementation of store mock up’s layouts and visual merchandising with a view to influence the VM guidelines and the potential to roll out to all stores.
Communicate professionally and effectively with colleagues at all levels.
Experience and skills required
Extensive experience of working as a Visual Merchandiser across fashion (high volume)
In depth familiarity with retail environments
Highly developed knowledge of fashion, trends
Flexibility of working hours will be required
Proven record in delivering a visual proposition & excellent store presentation standards consistently
Demonstrates experience of working in Stores, Regional & Head Office environments
Experienced at project management and delivering through others by applying a high level of organisational skills
Can demonstrate technical ability in grouping, styling, grids and product handling
