We have an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability and CSR Technologist to join the Technical & Sustainability Function or a leading Heritage Brand
This is a varied role working across CSR, Sustainability and the development & management of branded items for the product range.
A really unique opening to work with a desirable Brand. This role would suit a Technologist with experience of the end to end product development cycle and production processes, who is passionate about Sustainability & CSR and wishes to broaden their role.
This is currently a 1 year contract but our Client is dedicated to making the position a permanent role.
First point of contact for all nominated packaging and label supplier queries, dealing with day-to-day queries from brand and external factories. Resolving or escalating to the Head of Department where necessary.
Maintaining communication with the ST responsible for Product Presentation Handbooks to ensure information remains accurate.
Liaising with design PD on new development to ensure timely development of new branding
Managing brand forecasting and delivery of the items to the required items to the correct location to facilitate bulk production.
Managing and delivering Brand protection objectives within all items of labelling and packaging
Managing and collating data (Audits, Certifications) & collaborating on Corrective Action Planning
Working on solutions and strategies for long term sustainability goals
Keeping up with industry standards and initiatives and building brand awareness
Liaising with external retail partners and distributors to ensure the required CSR standards for our global markets
A good understanding of our Brand and brand product across all categories
Thorough working knowledge of the end to end design, product development, production and retail processes
A sound working knowledge of the main Audit bodies & sustainability tools available within our sector
A proven track record in the integration of the best sustainability practices into a Brand’s sourcing and buying model
