Our Client a leading value fashion brand, has a vacancy for an E-commerce shift Manager based at their warehouse. Reporting to the Head of E-commerce Fulfilment, the purpose of the role is to manage the efficient handling of throughput for multi-brand /multi-site e-fulfilment operations, with particular responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction and pre-set KPI’s are maintained through the close management of both customer services levels and budget control.
Responsibilities / Objectives:
1. Day to day management of team.
2. To plan and allocate resources by department /brand on a daily basis, in line with volumes.
3. To calculate weekly staffing levels and holiday allowances per shift for the year, based on the projected/budgeted volumes.
4. To review agency requirements, ensuring that bookings are placed in line with previously agreed deadlines, hours are accurately recorded and forwarded to the Agency. Leases with all internal departments to ensure full utilisation of all colleagues prior to booking agency colleagues.
5. To plan and manage the weekend and management cover rota.
6. To regularly review overtime requirements, within the constraints of a tight budget.
7. Ensure pre-set services levels are maintained on all services levels.
8. Ensure all ASN’s (Goods Received Notes) are complete in an accurate and timely manner
9. To regularly re-assess all methods of operations, in order to remain proactive and suggest recommendations for the continuous improvement of the cycle.
10. To carry out team briefing sessions at the commencement of your shift, to encourage regular communication and feedback to all colleagues.
11. To produce statistics for the weekly reports and monthly budget reviews.
12. Ensure stock accuracy is maintained at all times.
13. To undertake ad hoc project work, as requested by Senior Management.
14. To ensure that all administration and documentation procedures relevant to your department are maintained.
15. To take responsibility for evaluating the overall performance of all colleagues within your team, ensuring feedback is provided informally/formally on a regular basis.
16. To identify the training needs of all colleagues within your given area of responsibility.
17. To ensure that the Company Health and Safety regulations and housekeeping charters are adhered to at all times.
18. From time to time there may be a requirement to cover sickness or holidays for other Operational departmental shifts.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a supervisory role.
You will be working days, however a degree of flexibility is needed as you will be required to provide holiday cover, working rotations.
