We have a great role for an experienced Sales Executive! Experience with Handbags, Jewellery, and/or Lingerie is preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities:
To assist sales manager in building the sales plans and forecasts.
To assist the sales manager in working with Management to establish the wholesale strategy and to ensure that sales targets are achieved.
To identify, manage, develop and grow key accounts within the business KPI’s.
To adhere to the approved wholesale strategy suggesting new account/category opportunities and continuously looking for ways to improve and develop sales numbers.
To be the primary contact for assigned key accounts.
To develop and nurture account relationships.
To support the sales manager to set critical path from account/distributor focus.
To communicate critical path to accounts/distributors and ensuring deadlines are met regarding sample order deadlines, sales launches/windows, order deadlines, delivery windows, etc.
Owning key account sales appointments diary – booking and attending all sales appointments within the approved sales windows.
To report appointment minutes to Management.
New account terms and conditions negotiation within the Brand KPI’s and to provide feedback for any vendor mandates through Production and Customer Care and Operations Functions.
New account set-up and to ensure all forms and documentation completed and shared in a timely manner so as not to delay trade.
To share marketing plans with accounts/distributors.
To work with in-house and account/distributor Marketing Functions seasonally to negotiate promotional activities and contributions to potentialise sales and to build in to critical path and share with Business Functions as required to meet agreed strategies.
To liaise with in-house marketing function to ensure that all assets are shared within account/distributor critical path – gaining approval as directed.
Liaising with Customer Care and Operations Function to ensure all orders raised and confirmed.
To liaise with Customer Care and Operations Function to maintain account delivery schedules and ensuring accounts are kept informed throughout sampling/production process.
To support sales team with analysing wholesale sales and account performance and timely reporting to Management.
Timely trade meetings/calls with accounts/distributors to potentialise sales and to provide feedback for all account product requests as required.
To liaise with Customer Care and Operations Function with regards to free to sell reports and any other trade opportunities to potentialise sales.
To support sales manager to engage in end of season negotiations.
Any other miscellaneous responsibilities that relate to sales.
To contribute with sales team in working with design team on product development and commercial application on:
Styling and colours;
Pricing & retail pricing strategy;
Assist in ongoing development of iconic go-to program for today’s market.
Management and upkeep of showroom with sales team.
The scope of the roles and responsibilities may expand or be varied dependent on business requirements.
