We are looking for a Quality controller to carry out pre-shipment AQL inspections within our client’s growing UK factory base in London, Wolverhampton, and the west of England.

This would suit a freelance / self-employed technologist who is able to work flexibly and can travel to the factories at about a weeks’ notice.

Candidate requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role.

• A sound knowledge of knitted, jersey & woven garments

• Working knowledge of the manufacturing environment and processes.

• Able to identify quality issues & their root causes.

• Experience working and communicating directly with both factories & brands

• A good understanding of the AQL process and documentation procedures

• Experience working for similar brands.

This will be approximately 3-4 day’s work a month but possibly increasing as our Client’s UK factory base expands.
