We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Production Coordinator to join a leading high street supplier. We are ideally looking for an experienced production merchandiser/planner who has experience working in the manufacturing industry and working with European Factories.

The tasks include but are not limited to:

Factory schedules - checking to make sure all orders are on the system and planned with correct dates against the system.
Prioritizing the pattern and grading schedule in line with the critical path
Maintaining regular factory and supplier contact. Inform the factories how to reduce shortages and inform the sales team on any customer/systems actions required
Obtaining forecast reports for every order and checking shortage/excess fabric
Preparing dockets, and checking the end of docket reports
Contributing to regular production meetings with the sales team.
Ordering new fabrics and providing details of cut dates to the sales team.
Managing the rescheduling of factory production if required and confirm delivery date following any critical path changes
Factory debits - managing the factory debits and keeping accurate records
Checking FOB prices, import and export prices are in line wiht requirements
Helping the trims Buyer as required
Managing daily e-mail communication, factory issues and suggesting solutions.

The ideal candidate will:

Be highly organised with the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
Have previous experience working in a similar environment and a sound understanding of manufacturing procedures.
Preferably have previous experience working with a fast-fashion Client base and understand their ways of working.

This a demanding and highly responsible role, requiring a sound knowledge of the supplier side of the industry. If you have the skills required please apply!
