Production Coordinator Assistant - Part time role 2 - 3 days per week

We have a great part-time role for a candidate with experience in fashion operations. Our Client is a highly successful established Womenswear Brand producing own brand and private-label clothing for department stores and boutiques in the UK and abroad,

The role's responsibilities are varied involving customer orders, production, logistics and customer support so offer a great opportunity to become involved in the day to day operations of the company.

2 to 3 days a week. Immediate start. Pro rata salary negotiable

Production Coordination Assistant responsibilities:

  • Liaising with the Production Coordinator and warehouse to ensure customer delivery dates are met without fail, adhering to the critical paths for each customer.

  • Liaising with the Pre-Production Coordinator regarding the approval of orders

  • Managing and resolving internal and external shipping enquiries

  • Coordinating the delivery process of all garments to multiple customers, each with their own unique paperwork requirements and procedures. Paperwork and certificates must be prepared in advance and with precision to ensure smooth deliveries.

  • Managing the website and sending customers' orders out in a timely manner

  • Offering customer support

  • Creating and sending of the Newsletter (customer information and marketing)

  • Stay constantly aware of deadlines and work with the other members of the team and the factory to ensure deliveries are always within the shipping windows

  • Communicate effectively with the other members of the team and the Managing Director, relaying information regarding progress of deliveries and informing of any changes to the schedule.

    Requirements:

  • Previous experience in fashion administration

  • Understanding of logistics processes

  • Good customer service and communication skills

  • Good numerical ability and a competent Excel user

  • Detailed and logical with the skills to understand each customer’s processes and systems

  • Highly organised and able to multi-task to handle multiple deliveries at once

  • Able to prioritise workload and expect their daily tasks to change depending on the needs of the business.

  • Capable problem solver and able to react to last-minute changes in a fast-paced environment.

  • Positive, reliable and flexible can-do attitude to go above & beyond job description when required to form an integral part of a small team
