We have a new vacancy for a Destination & Local Marketing Manager with a leading retailer based in Carlisle. This is to include PR and communication generally to both stores and central functions alike.
Responsibilities / Objectives:
· To formulate & devise the local marketing and destination marketing strategy.
· To be aware of industry best practise and adopt internally.
· To be proactive when designing marketing formats to maximise productivity profitability
· To ensure that local marketing reflects the corporate brand identity.
· To be the custodian of the brand from a communications perspective.
· To oversee the communication strategy to both retail and central functions.
· To build and develop “partnership” relationships with third party suppliers.
· To drive company profitability through both tactical and strategic actions.
· Obtain, analyse and interpret industry data from third parties and present the findings.
Candidate requirements:
· Previous experience in a similar role is essential and a formal Marketing qualification would be preferred.
This is a 5 day, full time role base at the Client’s head office
