About the Role
Our Client, a highly successful Lingerie Brand is hiring an experienced marketing executive to lead their marketing strategy to drive growth and brand awareness. The ideal candidate has experience with digitally-native, DTC businesses, strategizing and managing performance across a range of marketing platforms. We are looking for someone who is execution focused, understands the importance of ROI for a start-up business and can combine creative and data-led thinking. Finally, the candidate must be cultural fit with a passion for environmental sustainability and the motivation to overhaul the lingerie industry to a more sustainable future.
Although our Client has a solid, engaged and loyal customer base, it will need to expand significantly to increase sales. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate experience of developing and executing a strategy that both tests product/market fit whilst at the same time delivering increased sales. Working closely with the CEO, the candidate will play a lead role in identifying and testing new market and customer segments.
This is a primarily remote role with critical meetings and events in person.
Role Responsibilities
Develop the Marketing Strategy
Understand the big picture business goals, vision and KPI’s
Create a marketing strategy to meet business goals and represent the brand, with experience across a range of brand and marketing activities and campaigns, including: social media (including emerging channels and influencer management), email marketing, paid search, website and SEO, potential collaborations, PR and events, and enhancing the value of the Brand’s loyal and engaged community both digitally and physically.
Execute Marketing for Growth
Balance creativity with strategic thinking and an ability to execute flawlessly, with both an intuitive and data-led feel for what works and doesn’t work.
Ability to identify a range of costed marketing activities, execute and double down and/or pivot quickly based on results.
Takes a lean, experimental approach towards marketing, fitting for a new Brand
Be execution-led. If a campaign or strategy isn’t driving results, work urgently to pivot.
Ensure budgets are spent well for maximum ROI
Be a leader and confidently work to grow and scale the company
Project manage all marketing including in-house staff, freelancers and budgets
The ideal candidate has the ability to grow into an effective leader for an expanding team
