Our Client, based in central London, is a highly successful supplier to the High Street. They supply jersey and woven, women's and children's wear, working with a range of their departments such as Petite, Tall and Curve as well as core.
Job role:
This position would ideally someone with several years of experience in a similar role, working with a digital pattern system, ideally vetigraph, but candidates with Gerber or Lectra experience will also be considered. We are looking for someone with some experience with measuring, creating specs and pattern cutting. The candidate needs to be punctual, organized, show initiative as well as have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Our Client’s office is a fast-paced environment so the ideal candidate needs to be efficient, and be able to work independently whilst part of a team.
The job role:
• Assisting the Garment Technologist in the garment development and approval process
• Digisting patterns through vetigraph system
• Measuring samples through the fit process from proto to sealer
• Following critical path to ensure garments are sent to retailer on time
• Measuring patterns on digital system
• Updating the garment specs filling in the grade rules
• Completing computerised costings and uploading to internal system
• Logging out production samples on internal system and delivering to the customer
• Updating critical path and various admin tasks
The position is full time in the office, working hours 8am – 4pm.
