International Quality Assurance Coordinator

Job Purpose

Working in our Quality Assurance team, your role will be to manage the International and Spanish partners in relation to QA, safety and compliance of toys. You will need to ensure that products ranged hold appropriate QA documentation and are complete and maintained as appropriate. The role will also require you to deal with external partners, suppliers and internal departments. Occasional travel may be expected.

The role requires a confident individual with strong organisational skills. In dealing with international partners you must possess a natural ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner. This role is managing a QA Administrator. Previous experience in a coordination role is essential.

You must hold a valid UK driving license with a minimum of 12 months driving experience.

Responsibilities

• To provide QA support for international partners and Spanish stores.

• Ensure products ranges hold correct documentation for the appropriate market.

• Create and maintain QA shared documentation by product to enable the smooth export.

• Manage locally sourced products and suppliers in conjunction with the QA Compliance Technician.

• Coordination of international customer and store reported product incidents and complaints.

• Control customs related QA challenges enabling smooth transition of stock.

• Assist the UK coordinator in obtaining supplier certification where needed.

• Implement regular review meetings with the buying team to manage product ranging.

• Provide general support to the Quality Assurance Manager.

• General administration duties.

Skills & Experience

  • Recent experience in a similar role, ideally gained in the toy industry.

  • Full understanding of the Toy Safety Directive and requirements.

  • Technical QA or engineering qualification.

  • Previous experience in critical path management.

  • Good general understanding of the wider toy industry and the production processes involved.

  • Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel and OneDrive.
