We have an opportunity for a Garment Technologist to join a leading Brand . Our Client is expanding their team and looking to recruit an experienced Garment Technologist to cover their growing Clothing , Beachwear and Nightwear ranges.

Candidate requirements:

Relevant experience in ideally both jersey and woven fabrics
Highly organised and proactive
Good communication skills to be able to liaise on a daily basis with Far East factories in a clear concise way.
Have a clear understanding of garment construction and attention to detail, along with knowledge of patterns to be able to correct garments that are not fitting.
Have a good understanding garment grading to be able to both create and sign off specs
Organise fit sessions and maintain the look of the brand, maintaining consistency across product areas.
Must be able to work to a critical path to maintain deadlines
Manage the sealing process from initial fit through to production
Checking production, once in the warehouse.
Monitoring returns and website feedback on ranges
Experience of contour would be helpful, although not essential
