Our Client a global niche brand is recruiting for a Footwear Technologist to work within our established Technical department. You will cover all footwear ranges within the brand, across Men's, Women's and Collaborations.

The Role

Update product fit comments and sample feedback, providing technical instructions to the suppliers
Updating the critical path from proto sample to bulk production, in conjunction with the product development and production planning team
Assist the Technical manager with the fitting and approval of sealing samples and preparing graded size charts for production
Liaise with suppliers and factories to ensure technical issues are resolved and within the best available time frame
Assessing final AQL inspection reports, liaising with the production department to facilitate the maintenance of required ex-factory date

About you

This is a great role for a footwear technologist, who wishes to broaden their technical knowledge within a brand environment.
A basic understanding of footwear fitting, grading, construction and manufacture
The ability to effectively communicate across internal departments and external sources, both verbally and in writing
Knowledge of fabric, lab testing and assessment of results
Knowledge of CAD/CAM
Ability to work in structured and timely manner under pressure within a team environment.
Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. (Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator would be useful)
