Our Client a manufacturer of luxury consumer goods is recruiting an experienced ERP Implementation Manager to execute the successful implementation of their new ERP solution softwear.
This is a 6 month project requiring 6-10 days work per month.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the successful implementation of the ERP system. Engage stakeholders to ensure a system is delivered to meet business requirements on budget and on time. Specific Areas of Responsibility include:
ERP Scoping:
Responsible for ensuring the ERP System meets the needs of the Client by reviewing the system capability against stakeholder requirements.
Ensure any stakeholder requests for customisation/adaptations to the system are scrutinised and propose Actions/Solutions to Senior Management where necessary.
Develop and publish a robust and detailed Critical Path, with relevant dates, costs and sign off stages.
ERP Delivery:
Accountable for the successful delivery of the ERP system.
Manage the Implementation critical path, reporting regularly to Senior Management on progress against plan.
Propose solutions to deliver the project on time if the agreed schedule is at risk • Propose solutions to deliver the project on budget if the budget is at risk
Manage the ERP budget to ensure the budget is delivered and any additional spend is approved/signed off by the Senior Team.
Lead the project, ensuring resources are deployed where appropriate to meet the ‘Go Live’ date. • Review the risks associated with the project, ensuring mitigations are in place to deliver a successful project.
Ensure that the new processes and systems of work are properly and consistently documented, to ensure the new ERP system process is fully embedded and capable of scaling with new employees.
People & Team:
ERP Steering Group to ensure members of the group are fully engaged and decisions are made to deliver a successful project.
Listen to/actively engage all relevant company stakeholders so their voices/recommendations are heard and explaining to them reasons where requests are not being adopted.
Ensure appropriate resource is appointed at the right time to ensure critical path dates are met. When needed, take a ‘hands-on’ approach to deliver the project to lead by example.
Communication: Regularly communicate to the Senior team progress against plan so they are always fully aware of targets and progress.
Lead the engagement of the Japan team to ensure their needs are fully evaluated and delivered where appropriate.

This role would suit a Project Manager experienced in implementing new ERP systems, with a hands on approach to the tasks and a focus on Manufacturing, Supply Chains and Production.
Candidates from a consumer goods background preferred but candidates from all sectors considered.
