We have a 12 month vacancy for a Digital Fit Specialist . The individual will deliver fit excellence & consistency by developing blocks, grading and educating technology teams on technical fit and patterns. They will support the digital transition in technology.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret fit and digitally develop block patterns that can be used internally for 3D fitting & by supplier’s for 3D fitting and seasonal style pattern creation

• Endorse and develop the use of 3D technology in the end-to-end process of block development

• Assist transition to more technical fitting based on pattern expertise. Educate and advise technologists on fit and 3D transition. Feedback any issues to the digital centre of excellence & product owner.

• Deliver the fit strategy and communication . Act in an advisory capacity to help solve fit issues in the business

• Deliver consistent grading across all product categories

• Demonstrate good relationships with colleagues, and suppliers

• Use initiative to proactively find solutions and clear communication through the right channels

• Work across teams to ensure efficient use of resource and to support colleagues

• Deliver based on business priorities and organise work in the appropriate manner

• Keep up to date with new fit technologies. Help drive new ways of working in technology related to fit.

• Act as the Client’s expert on fit, block development and digital technologies

• Communicate fit updates to sourcing offices & x-functional teams

Skills required:

• Proficient in 2D and 3D systems such as Optitex preferred although candidates with only 2D experience will be considered.

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding in the field of fit technology and pattern development, blocks and grading

• Excellent communication skills with technical function, supply base and global sourcing office

• Ability to work efficiently across different buying teams

• Flexible attitude and change mindset.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract. Immediate start.
