We have a vacancy for an Assistant Merchandiser to join a highly successful Womenswear Brand!

Role Objectives

To support the Merchandising team to maximise commercial opportunities. Effective Management of Inventory, driving sales, minimising costs and maximising profits.

“To have the right product, at the right price, at the right time, in the right quantities”.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sales Analysis / Performance in time for Weekly Trade meeting.

• Analysis of key products and forecasting sales potential

• Provide Historical Analysis to develop Range Planning / Phasing within Season

• Monthly Range planning with the Buying team

• Manage Production Intake into the Business to hit / exceed Monthly Sales Forecasts

• Liaise with Manufacturers daily to ensure timely delivery of Production. Heading up Manufacturer’s meetings on a weekly basis.

• Liaison with other Departments including / Buying / Wholesale / Garment Tech.

• Working closely with our third-party warehouse on deliveries / stock holding

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Extremely Analytical

• Have a strong Customer awareness and understanding

• Previous experience in Fashion Merchandising, preferably within Womenswear

• Good judgement and decision making skills

• Passionate about Product, strong market and brand awareness

• Exceptionally organised, methodical and efficient

• Time keeping and ability to meet deadlines

• Computer proficient
